REAL MEN CRY IN THE SHOWER FOR 10 MINUTES FROM SLEEP DEPRIVATION BEFORE STARTING THIER DAY

tamamita:

When Obama became the president, he didn’t make my land safer, he turned it into a graveyard with remnants of his drones scattered all over the land. My beloved land is in ruins and I will never be able to return there. Obama was no different than Bush, he was in fact worse. Cursing Obama has become a household routine. Whether Trump, Biden or any other leader takes the mantle of imperialism, we will suffer greatly, not you. We do not care about the outcome in your country. You will go to the polling stations, cast your vote, you will ask for change, but refuse to stand up and organize, you will repeat the same defeatist rhetoric and go back to your old routine every four year, hoping for some kind of change in your land all the while we continue to be exploited.

Basic rules for analysing fiction, an incomprehensive list jotted down in a hurry:

  1. The protagonist isn’t always right
  2. The protagonist isn’t always good
  3. The protagonist isn’t always written to be relatable or likeable
  4. The narrator isn’t always right
  5. The narrator isn’t always good
  6. The narrator isn’t always telling the truth
  7. The narrator isn’t always the author
  8. The protagonist’s moral compass, the narrator’s moral compass and the author’s moral compass are three entirely different things that only occasionally overlap
  9. Pay attention to what characters do and not just what they say
  10. Pay special attention when what the characters do is at odds with what they say
  11. A lot of the time the curtains are blue for a reason. If they aren’t, you should read better books

One more:

12. The antagonist isn’t always telling the truth

So many times I have seen people apparently just … forget that it’s possible for fictional characters to be (a) mistaken or (b) lying, and say things like “we know this to be true because [character] said so here” (or, worse, “this fact is canon because [character] said it”).

The antagonist isn’t always telling the truth, the protagonist isn’t always telling the truth, the secondary and minor characters aren’t always telling the truth, the narrator may be telling the truth but if the narrator is also a character in the story then don’t count on it.

I don’t think people truly understand the gravity of Rafah being bombed.

There is nowhere left to go.

The lowest cost is $5,000 USD to flee to Egypt. There has been people paying over $10,000 USD.

That is the only option

Pay or die.

Rafah was the only place in Palestine promised not to be bombed. That promise is broken.

1.5 million people have nowhere to go!

Reminder, if possible, please donate to the PCRF, ANERA, Islamic Relief, Palestine Red Crescent Society, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Defense for Children International - Palestine,Doctors Without Borders, and all other trusted organizations.

over 1.5 MILLION displaced palestinians are in Rafah right now, with no shelter, no clean water, and very little food. the israeli army will not be satisfied until every palestinian they see is dead, because in their eyes, every palestinian they see is a threat to their occupation. it was NEVER about “minimizing civilian casualties” and it was NEVER about retrieving hostages.
